Hello! I’m Chrisnu Visual Novel, an independent visual novel developer.
For over two years, I have been working on my project with a lot of effort, dedication, and love. I don’t have advanced technology or a team to back me up, but that doesn’t stop me. I keep developing alone, using a modest computer that I also use for my daily work, making the most of my free time—whether at night, early mornings, or weekends—to bring this game to life.
I remember when I started creating Welcome to Tapiaca. I had no knowledge of programming, Python, or Ren’Py. I learned as I went along, often doubting myself, sometimes feeling scared and ashamed of not being good enough. My first version was basic, and I received harsh criticism. But instead of giving up, it motivated me to keep going, to improve, and to learn every day.
My inspiration came from games like Harem Hotel, Lucky Paradox, and Neko Paradise. I loved them, and I dreamed of making something similar but with my own style and essence. That’s how Welcome to Tapiaca was born—not as a product to sell, but as the game I always dreamed of playing.
What makes me different?
What sets me apart from many developers is that, despite technical and personal limitations, I am fully committed. I update the game every 2 or 3 months, adding new characters, dialogues, events, and more. It’s completely free and available in five languages across multiple platforms.
I have received criticism, suggestions, and a lot of support from the community. And although it’s not always easy, I don’t give up. Every update represents a new step to improve and offer a unique experience, created from the heart.
Why do I share this on Itch.io and Patreon?
Itch.io is the ideal place for me because it allows me to share the game freely with everyone. Here, I found an open community willing to give feedback, and that motivates me to keep going.

About translations
The game is being independently translated into five languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, and Italian. Spanish is my native language, so while the translations might not be perfect yet, I am working hard to improve them with each update. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
